i am installing new customised rom IN MY I9082 GALAXY GRAND as follows first installing cwm then installing rom from the external sd card however it just hangs up on carrier logo and doesnt proceed further i have tried doing clear cache factoy reset and other things but the problem prevaILS PLEASE ADVICE

Restore the backup you made using CWM before flashing the ROM.

If you didn't make a backup (which you should always do before flashing anything), download a different ROM. Use an SD card reader to put it on your card (or you may be able to mount it from the phone via usb when in CWM - does it still have the mounts and storage menu?). Then try installing this ROM instead.

Make sure software is for your specific phone - the precise model, not just the name.

If none of that works, I think you can use Odin or Kies to reflash the phone with stock software, but I don't actually know Samsungs very well so can't advise on that.

How long did you wait? On newly flashed ROMs, it can take a fairly long time on the first boot. Sometimes up to 10 minutes.
