Help [Q] Optimus G E973 BELL.. Keyboard Issue

I Have Optimus G E973 from Bell, and i'm having an issue, loving the new qslide feature with keyboard, BUT, for soem reason the LS keyboard adn the ANdroid Keyboard have both removed the Vocie typing key and even though its in the settings it does nt show up on the keyboards at all.. his is not a huge problem, but my daughter uses that feature as she cant type due to health issues, and it's just weird that the feature not working, hoping someone can give some insight into this, I thank-you all kindly for your time..
 
Is this the same keyboard?

yes i did, tried everything i could think of so far, just not sure why this happening, it shows the options in the settings of each keyboard, but they are greyed out so cant change, its really weird..
 
i dont have that setting, in my LG E973 from Bell, it have Android Keyboard AOSP, and LG Keyboard, and both wont allow my to use the voice typing like they did before the update to Jellybean
 
Do you have an accessibility option? In there they have text to speech software you can run. It should prompt you to install the app from the play store when you open it.
 
yes the text to speech works, but i needed speech to text for my daughter,

well i reset my phone again, and now it seems that option u showed me has appeared, the Google Voice to text, thats weird though, because still have no option in the keyboards like there was before the update to Jellybean, so im not to sure why this is happening, as using google voice seems to take wuite a bit of memory, but its better than nothing, and will work for my daughter for now i think, if anyone figures a way to get the old options working on the keyboards i'd really appreciate it..

But let me make sure I understand. You had the voice to text option on the keyboard when on ICS and its no longer there since upgrading to jellybean? Also you have the bell variant E973?
 
See if you have this...

menu>settings>language & input>Android Keyboard (settings on the right)>Voice input key>Mic on main keyboard.

yes thats right.. it only changed after i updated to jellybean
 
Try Hackers Keyboard.

It's free, and might help indicate if it's those apps or if it's the system.

Also, Google does change supporting voice services. Try going into the Play Store, choosing your apps, and see what wants to update.

By the way - can you choose Google voice typing when choosing which keyboard to use? That's pretty good, and you are on Jellybean.
