Root [Q] Power on phone when plugged in? Auto boot when docked?

Sorry if this post is formatted awkwardly...this is my first time posting here and I have a very basic understanding of android rooting

I tried searching for possible solutions to this problem, but didn't find anything that 100% solved it for me.

My company has a few phones that we would like to implement this feature to. I saw that it looks to be possible on Samsung device, but the phones we have are LG Ultimate 2 (LG41c Tracfone), which seems to be where the problem is. The device are fully rooted.

This is the article I found. The thread is saying that you can change some of the code for /playlpm or /lpm to have the phone boot up.

The problem is, I don't seem to have either of these files anywhere on the device. I know that it's possible to change boot animations when a phone is rooted so my question would be....am I missing the file somehow or is there a way you can change the battery icon when the phone is off and charging? What we thought to do would be have the phone trigger a boot shell cmd when the charging icon is displayed. Does anyone have any possible solutions or leads? Thanks guys!

Ok so y do u need the phones to power on when plugged in y not use power button? And as far as changing power off charge animation i could do that its built into the kernel but y would u want to do this??

We only have remote access to the phones. It would basically be a safefail to ensure the phones are powered on at all times. They are always plugged in so I thought maybe this would be an option.

I'm sorry, but do you mean a video of what I'm trying to do?

This is almost exactly what I'm trying to do. I've exhausted all the options brought up in that thread, as well as the script the dev made. I'm pretty sure I've hit a wall, but figured maybe someone here would know more than me being that I;m relatively new to all of this. Thanks again!
