I'm looking for an sms widget that allows you
to write a reply in the actual widget without
opening a new window.
I'm using wave launcher to temporarily open
widgets on top of whatever I have open at the
time, go sms widget almost had it with a
small pop up window that opened over most
apps but it still shut down Thd games when I
tried to right an sms.
Anyone know of anything like this?

SMS Popup is good, and will allow you reply in the window. Never tried wave launcher so dont know if this will give you the function you want to open over open games.

Actually - thinking about that again - you want a widget rather than pop up window so this may not be appropriate?

Yeah sms pop up seems great but I'm really after a widget. Basically a widget that does the same function as sms pop up, that way I can open the widget when I want to reply rather than as soon as I get the text.

I'm not aware of anything, but this might get a bit more visibility in the applications section (and more responses too), do you want me to move it there for you?

From what I understand, you cannot create a widget where you enter text. Which is why all the apps that try to do it have to open a popup.

You must log in or register to reply here.
