[Q]What to do before and after root..?

Hello frnds,I recently bought Galaxy y which is good and awesome. I came to know that by rooting we can access more things which we donot with unroot device. I am ready to do root but i want to know what to do before and after rooting, backup, custom rom and some other things and how to do those things. Please frnds help me out because i am going to root my device.

Best of luck with the rooting process....so rooting makes your device more useful so after rooting you can play some hd games like avatar,nfs shift..etc by reducing your graphic quality by using a app call chainfire 3d.So you can play hd games in a low end android mobile..you can install custom roms check out galaxy y xda forum..you can do lot's of stuff using a rooted galaxy y...best of luck.
