I just rooted my stock 2.2.1 and I can't get my laptop to connect. Wireless tether runs fine and my computer sees the network but when I try to connect it never does, never gets an IP address.
Think I found root of the problem. Something is up with my linux network configuration because my mother in laws mac connected first try. For some reason linux is not wanting to connect to ad hoc. Any suggestions?
