Help Qi charger discussion/charger recommendations

i picked up a moto power pack micro+ a spare oem charge dock (works better for me since i have the black steel version). the power pack clings to my keychain and when/if i need to top off the watch (have not had a need to thus far, battery life has been great in my environment) i just plug it up on the mot base and boom. plus its a key finder and connects to the moto connect app.

What would be ideal (IMHO) would be a Qi pad large enough I could charge both my 360 and my N6 simultaneously ... side by side ... at the same time ... together ... on my nightstand overnight. :D

Only problem with that is the stainless band I have makes it impossible to lay the watch flat on it. Only thing I have found would be the Motorola dock or the QiStone+

Can charge either since the watch band could go around the stone.

I have no idea how well it works though.

Sorry. That is my bad. I participate in so many qi wireless charging threads that I didn't even realize this was the one on the 360 forum.

What's a good wireless charger to buy? I would like one to keep at my desk so that I can charge the watch before I leave work

What kind of band do you have? If you have the leather band, any of the hockey-puck style chargers should work just fine. If you have the metal bracelet, then it can be awkward trying to fit the band around the charger and you should consider getting the official OEM charger from Motorola.

Ok. I have the metal band. It comes with a wireless charger but I was unsure if those were available to buy standalone

the moto charger is best. i also have (black) metal band moto 360. i use the moto qi charger with a moto power pack micro. small footprint and good combination.
the qi stone+ is also a viable alternative. i have an use both.

I just received my PowerBot charging pad, and QiStone+ wireless power bank.

I bought the PowerBot to charge the QiStone, and the QiStone to primarily charge the watch on the go, although it'll be handy to top up my Nexii when I'm away from an outlet as well.

I'm doing a test charge right now. With the QiStone+ fully charged, I began charging my watch a few minutes ago. It's charging just as fast, if not faster, than the OEM Qi dock. It looks like the watch's charge current drops low enough, however, that the QiStone stops charging at ~76% and turns off. To rule out a problem with the QiStone, I just dropped the N6 on it and it started charging away.

The PowerBot seems to be less tempermental; I dropped the watch on it at 76% and it began charging again.

More testing is in order...

I did some further tests with the PowerBot and a USB power meter. With the Moto 360 on the PowerBot, the charger pulls ~500mA/h. With the QiStone+ on the PowerBot, 1A current is pulled. The Nexus 6 on the PowerBot pulled a whopping 1.5A/h charge current.

The PowerBot is rated at 1.5A maximum input current, and the power brick used in the test is rated at 1.35A max (the charger for my Nexus 7), so I don't know if the charge current measured while charging the N6 was a limitation of the PowerBot or the charger brick.

More tinkering required...
