Quad core box

May seem like an odd observation but I'm intrigued.... Re the cardboard flap that the s3 lays on in the box... There is a semi circle cut-out to help you peel the flap back to expose the accessories. Well on some of the boxes it is simply a semi circle hole and on others there is a small semi circle flap. I guess this sounds trivial but the bit that interests me is that on the boxes without the little semi circle flap it's clear that it's been cut off .... Like its deliberate. Why? Any ideas?

Dude... what?

U got it right when u said trivial... lol. As far as I know, it could be that diff manufacturing locations did it different ways. For instance my quad core is made in Korea and is the "cut out" that u speak of with the little half circle tab to pull on.. I didn't check this on my at&t version when I had it, which was made in China. So good luck finding answers.. :)

I suggest u return yours if it doesn't have the tab though.. could be a defect...

JOKE!

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes that could be it. I'm only curious because it's quite clear that the semi circle tab has been deliberately removed. Why would a manufacturer actually bother to do that! Trivial yes but the very fact of it indicates something more significant is afoot!
