Quadrant 2.0 is out; Post em'!

The new version of Quadrant is out with multi core and ICS support. I know these mean nothing, but it will still be fun to see where everyone stands.

Here is mine, with ICS at 1GHz.

Mine fails miserably on the 2D test. The other scores are at 1900 or higher, but it only scores about 200 on the 2D test and that drags the total score down to 1900. Is anyone else seeing the same thing?

I got similar results: total: 1946, 2D: 245

tehsusenoh - what app are you generating screen caps with?

Results with otherwise stock 902 (rooted)
Total: 1808 * CPU: 1616 * Mem: 2507 * I/O: 2792 * 2D: 243 * 3D: 1880

ICS4BIONIC has a built in screenshot app.

Also, the Google Android SDK tools has a built in tool as well (ddms).

Otherwise, it will be some tool from the Market, just search for screenshot

Long time since I have been here!

Anyways.

I download Quadrant.

And in system info it names the processor and tells you how many cores.

Mine though (Bionic) say it has one core

CPU
Name: ARMv7
Current Freq: 1000 MHz
Max Freq: 1000 MHz
Min Freq: 300 MHz
Core:1
Cores Available for Java:1

That's the Dou Core setup?

Is this right, or just an error or is it using 1 core for current activity?

Hmmm, I need to check my results. I ran it on ICS and I got measly scores of 2020 and 2019.

I do have a lot of stuff (and I refuse to wipe data just for a benchmark) but I wonder if it only saw a single core on my machine as well?

Hmmm, Quadrant says a single core.

Can any of your previous posters verify if it is showing single or dual core? ICS or GB, either way....

Mine shows single core, but I still get the results in the first post.

100% stock 5.9.902 ...

Core = 1
Clock = 1GHx

1956
1955
1902

... Thom

It's gotta be all the stuff I have installed - I have 6 or seven apps that loads services on boot....

I got 1946 on earlier tests, but my son's X2 got over 2400. In side-by-side tests, the X2 completed the entire benchmark before the Bionic completed the CPU tests. Both are running Tasker, but mine has many more profiles.

Quadrant also showed my Bionic as having ONE CORE.

I then booted the Bionic in safe mode and Quadrant now shows my Bionic as having TWO CORES, and scores 1685! After running the benchmark, it shows only ONE CORE.

WTF?!

The second core is enabled as needed. You can force it to be enabled all the time, but it requires rooting your phone.

Then it would seem the Bionic thinks the second core is not needed when running Quadrant. That's the only explanation I can think of that would cause the CPU portion of the test to run so poorly when compared to the X2.
