quest search - turn based style?

hi all,

im always on the look out for a good quest game

i especially like the turn based format, so i can pause,put down the game at any point it needed
also often like the 8bit style look - although sometimes can be too much

i like some of the rogue/8 bit games, but would much prefer a game that lets me keep my character and improve its skills

one of my faves was Questlord - but also really liked Glyph quest - puzzle quest was good also

any ideas/good games?

....just found mini quest - looks fun 8bit game- dont think there is character skills though

mmm....not sure there is much to it though :/ .... deleted - puzzle solving game rather than a quest

currently liking dungalot - although not really a quest - but a pleasant crawler

i am currently playing Lionheart Tactics. it does offer IAP, but you can still advance pretty high without having to buy into the game. the only issue i have is the the turn around wait time is kind of slow.

no i meant that when one of your heroes dies you have to wait an hour or so to play them again. or when you are training them for higher skills can take several days for the higher level skills.

just trying out dungeon raid - not a quest but more of a puzzle match battle seems a decent one though
