Question about 2 apps, in one post

Figured I'de ask about both in a single post so as not to clutter the forums with posts.
My phone is a ZTE Warp Sequent with Android 4.0.4 ICS

First Question:
This is about Juice defender. I used it on GB 2.3.5 I think it was, and it worked really nice, but with ICS it seems to have a MAJOR shutoff delay for the 3g data part. I have checked it off and on to see if it was turned off and it sometimes wouldn't even turn ther 3g off, and other times it'd take about 5 mins or better. So my question is, does juice defender not work so well with ics?, and maybe there is a ICS version of it I am missing for download.

Second Question:
It seems as if ICS may have a bug or glitch with wallpapers via the gallery. I use a pic of my daughter in the gallery, and when I crop it out, no matter what I do it seem to zoom it in really large, so all I see is my daughters chest, the head is cut off and such....yes that sounds gross lol, but it's not meant that way.....it's as if it's in zoom mode, zoomed WAY close. I have tried multiple ways of cropping it with no luck.
So am I missing something or doing something wrong? the crop is a bit different with ics as compared to GB as it has like 3 boxes now, instead f a single box, like a middle box with 2 smaller side boxes, so I'm not sure what that's all about, that's why I thought maybe I was doing something wrong.
If I use other wallpapers like the built in ones it works just fine.

i had the picture problem with third party launchers but using nova it seems better.

i have a Samsung phone and touchwiz was always much better at handling wallpaper pictures.

regarding juice defender I've not used it on ics but those kinds of apps can cause more problems than they are worth!

Ditch juice defender, get green power.

Use a different launcher like Apex or Nova

Already use Nova, and man is it NICE. Fast, snappy, and stable. I prefer it over any other home replacement I haev tried thus far. I am VERY happy with it.

I will give green power a try.

chanchan05 , Thank you VERY much, it works like a dream. It works like Juicedefender did on GB, so it's quick on the data toggle off/on. Thanks again for the help, now I don't have to toggle my data on/off, it's automated again .
