Question about case for thunderbolt!

Hey guys I love following the threads on this forum! I realize there is a seidio thread already but I didn't wanna drop my question in seidioseidio's topic, but I just want some personal opinions on whether I should order the seidio surface or wait for the active to be released? I've never owned seidio but I've watched plenty of youtubes on their products. I realize the active is meant for somewhat heavier duty use, but it seems the surface has a better method of attatching to the device, maybe more secure? But the active definately has a more impact absorption design. I don't go rock climbing or anything but I am rough on my phones, I frequently drop them from short distances and bump them into things, but I've always used a case so never damaged a phone. Also, how are the ultimate screen guards that seidio offers? I've only used zagg, installations a pain! I just want to make sure I have a case ready at home when I bring home the thiunderbolt! Lol. Thanks in advance for any opinions or advice guys!

I'm pretty much sold on the ActiveX. I just would really like to know when they're going to be released. I'd love to be able to put the TB in the case as soon as it's in my hands.

I want the Active as well and I'm not a chronic dropper. I just like the security. LOL! Well, that and I do have two little boys....

I also am leaning towards the active because of how the soft rubber part wraps around the phone, but it also seems like it will be easy to peel the rubber off around the sides, idk, me and fiance r both getting tb's so maybe we'll get one of each

I've had an Innocase II on my Blackberry and my current Palm Pre (cases for sliders suck BTW). To me, the Innocase is one of the least bulky cases out there.

Hi All,
My first official post (outside of my introduction). I've never owned a smart phone and the plan is to make Thunderbolt my first. (Of course that would mean Verizon would need to actually release it) I've never really liked carrying a phone in my pocket and prefer to "wear" a phone on my belt. That said, Thunderbolt looks to be too large for a belt. Do any of you carry your smart phones on a belt?

Thanks in advance.

Dan

how much thicker is the otterbox defender in comparison to the seidio active x? I know neither is out yet for the tb, but if anyone has experience with those models from past phones it would be appreciated

I would personally love to see something like this...but maybe with more front screen protection.

I like the Innocase II a lot. Had one for my BB, use one now on my DInc, and have one waiting for a Thunderbolt to put in it... They are great, and gives the phone some protection from drops and the like, yet is easy to get in and out of a pocket.

First off welcome.

I used to carry my phone in a holster but since I have had my Incredible I have been putting in my pocket. That being said the Thunderbolt is a little bigger and I may actually start carrying on my belt since it is bigger. My recommendation if you do this is the seidio holster. They have it for naked and if you decide to use a case they have a holster for that as well.

I have done reviews on prior phone accessories for their products.

+1 on the holster. Have one for a BB I have to carry for work. Best holster I have ever used, bar none.
