Question About Charging LEDs (colors) -

Ive noticed the S3 charges with a solid red light, but when is fully charged I am used to the red turning over to green on my Evo - this morning I woke up to find my S3 still solid red but when i turned on the screen the lock screen said fully charged as well as the icon showed full - the only thing i have set off is in LEDs is the red light to show low battery - everything else is on

Also i noticed on day 1 (yesterday when i took it off the charger for the first time from a full charge) it said on the lock screen fully charged - unplug charger - today day 2 no uplug charger text either -

So questions

1. is the red led suppose to change to green upon fully charged?
2. anyone else notice the unplug charger message, and now not getting that?
 
I'm gonna say they should work as you mentioned but sometimes they don't work as they should. I think this will be something that is fix with an update. Can't say to the text on lock screen for me but I don't recall having an issue with the red to green.
 
Mine goes Red to Green on charge. I don't recall seeing an unplug charger message either. On my DX, the unplug charger message only appeared sometimes.
 
kinda weird ... dont know if i ever saw the green at all speaking of which - ive seen blue (for notifications) and red (charging and also notifications) so far and thats it - :confused:
 
My charging light only shows when the screen is off. I just notiticed this and don't know if it's some setting I changed or if that's just the way it works. I can't find any setting to turn it back on. Are y'all doing the same thing?

Mine's the same. I know that it originally showed while the screen was on, but I unticked the box in settings. I went back and reticked it, but still only shows when screen is off. I not a huge deal, but but.....

When the phone is fully charged, the screen turns on briefly and displays the "unplug charger" message.

Where is this check box, I can't find it anywere.
 
The first day, my LED stayed red when 100% charged. I rebooted the phone & the next day it worked normal....red for when almost empty (think under 10%), orange during charging, green when charged.

Thanks, I have all those set but the charging LED still does not show up when the screen is on. Oh well, it's not that important I guess.

Mine doesn't either when checked. I have mine unchecked when charging & still comes on when phone is off.
 
Just glad it works correctly for missed events. Most important thing!
