Question about email bug

Hello all, I'm new here and need help from anyone who knows what's up! I have a N1 on Gingerbread btw. When I try to fill out any form that asks for my email address it always tells me my email address is invalid. I retype it and it won't accept no matter what. Is this a gmail issue or maybe a Gingerbread bug? Have any of you guys experienced this problem? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.... the strange thing is that this site accepted my email when registering but no other sites will

Is the first level domain in your email address one of hte new abbreviated domain names (ie., .co)? These may trip up the software trying to parse the address...

Nope its just my first name and last name@gmail.com.. no spaces or special characters.. I never had this issue until I got the gingerbread update.

Well then I simply don't know what's causing that to happen. It should work!

It might be worthwhile to do a factory reset on the phone... but there's no guarantee that a full reset will do anything to help (but it will delete any and all data you currently have on the phone).
