I'm currently developing a barcode scanner device using android. I have a bluetooth barcode scanner connected to the android pad. But when the scanner is connected, it is acted as an external keypad. So that the soft keypad is disabled and cannot be shown up. Is it possible for me to bring up the soft keypad when the scanner is connected? I need that in some UI.
