question about exporting contracts

Hello fellow android users.
I've been using Motorola Bionic for a few month now.
I'm wondering how to export all my contacts from the Backup assistant
to my Google account.

From my somewhat limited knowledge, all of your contacts on your Android phone should automatically sync with your Google account.

If you have not already done so, make sure you port your contacts to your phone and the go to your settings menu, find the sync option, and force a sync.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I'm a newbie to android and bionic is my first android device.
It seems like all my contacts stored on the Backup Assistant which I believe on Verizon
server have not been merged with my Google account on very same device.
Because all contacts on my phone currently don't appear on my Gmail contact when I check from
other desktop computer.

Not sure for the exact step by step on a Motorola, but you can export your contacts to SD from the menu in the contacts app. It will appear as a vcf file which you can import again to Gmail.
