Question about Facebook Mobile for Android

Hey, guys.

I'm hoping this is the right place to ask this, but I'm hoping it is.

Anyway, I recently switched from a BlackBerry to a Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro, and I'm loving it so far. The thing is, though, I was still on a BlackBerry plan that gave me unlimited Facebook and Twitter, but since I'm not on a BlackBerry any more, it makes sense that those features wouldn't transfer over to my new phone. Anyway, I'm switching my plan over to have 100MB of data at the end of the month, and since Facebook mobile tends to always be running in the background, is 100MB enough to sustain me for a month at a time? It seems like, since it's always running in the background, it would just eat up my data really quickly.

Thanks!

If you turn off background sync for facebook you should be OK. When set up that way it only syncs when you open the app, not when it is running in the background.

I have been using the facebook mobile app for about 6 months now. I have facebook to end when my screen times out after 1 minute. So far my monthly usage combining mobile data and wifi is around 30 MB. I'm on there maybe 3 times a week for maybe about 30min. each time. Also, keep in mind that when you load pictures and video, this might count towards your data. Down load "My Data Manager Pro" and this way you can monitor your data usage and even have your data turned off once you reach your limit.
