Root question about flashing rom

im on cm6 rc2 and i wanted to try out the nightlies one... im using rom manager and wanted to know when flashing to a different version of cm6 do i still need to wipe my phone

i haven't wiped yet since I installed RC1 and I'm on latest nightly rom.. so usualy no. but some people had to due to problems.

How do i wipe BTw?
Im on stock Froyo rooted N1.
I want to flash CM6 RC2.
I've flashed the Clockwork recovery, backed up my rom, downloaded CM6 but I dont know if i should wipe.

Definetly Wipe! Totally different rom.


I don't have CW Mod, but I think it asks you if you want to wipe during the rom flashing process.
