Question about fontchanger

Hi everyone having recently rooted my desire, after a bit of pain and with loads of help from the guys here to recover the situation, all now seems good running LeedRoid2.2f and loving it.

I was looking to install Fontchanger, but when I do it comes up with an error message saying I dont have write permission. From reviewing the developers website on the XDA forum it suggests I need S-OFF for it to work.

Not sure how brave I feel for messing about with the security settings on my phone at the moment.

Can anyone offer any advice on this, or is there an easier way to change fonts?

thanks danfrance, i think that is from the same dev.

Silly question, what does it mean by install Fontchanger*.apk? Is that done from recovery?

No, its an app.

Basically you flash the fonts in recovery (zip file) and install the app as you would any other.

i know i'm showing my stupidity but i have only ever installed and app from the market.

What do i do with the .apk file?

Sorry for the basic question!

You can either download and use any Installer file from the Market. Most good installer will find all .apk files from your phone so it should be easy to install the file you want. Or use Astro. Find the file in Astro and click on it. rest is just following instruction.
