Say I ask google to make a note that I have a doctors appointment tomorrow at five for some reason it opens up as an email that I can send to myself with the information. Is their any way to have it save a memo or something?

Usually have to say the memo name. there is a specific set of words that it triggers off of. look in the help for it as it gives better clue as to what specific words trigger what.

Click the ? button on it to see the help menu.

do you mean samsung voice like S-Voice? if yes first say make memo, it was ask what do you want to write, say what you want and it will save it to a memo

you can also say make appointment for doctors tommorow at five and it will make it in S-PLanner by default

No I mean like when you open Google now and use the voice command function. Sometimes I can get it to make a new event on the calendar but other times it tries to send me a note in an email to myself.

ya i dont like google now for thats, S-Voice works amazing for system controls, Google Now is amazing for questions, thats just my opinion
