I have a Verizon Motorola BIONIC smartphone with the HBO GO app on it. It won't allow me to simply connect the phone's mini HDMI output to an HDTV and "mirror" the image as needed. I realize this is probably mostly an HBO GO app thing.
Was wondering if rooting takes cares of this & allows you to bypass the limitations. I also have a 7" kid tablet (Nabi 2) with HBO GO on it too. Would rooting this 7" tablet with HBO GO accomplish the same thing and allow simple "mirroring" to an HDTV?
