question about insurance

Was $100 when my wife's Moment got smashed. You cannot turn around and sell it your old one since they pretty much black list the phone.

The only time it is a $100 deductible is if the motherboard is damaged, internal liquid damage, or if the device is lost or stolen.

Any other problem they fix or order a phone for free.

(With insurance on that particular line)

of course it is free... on insurance when the problem is covered by warranty!!
which means.. insurance has nothing to do with it.

when insurance has to replace your phone.. then it will cost your $100 deductible.
Insurance and deductibles ... go hand in hand.. like stink on shiit

Warranty is $35 to fix by Sprint now. Or you can send it to the manufacturer for free. If you have insurance they will fix your phone at the store for free if it is fixable at the store.

If you take your phone into a Service & Repair Sprint location, if you don't have any one of the forementioned problems(motherboard damage, liquid damage, lost/stolen), its free for them to fix or order you a replacement when you have TEP.

I tried to file the claim online and it said to go to the Service & Repair Location. If I go there they'll see that I was previously rooted, which is why I have to file the claim. Do I go there anyways and risk it or do I report it stolen or lost?

Try to flash the orginal rom back on the phone and take it in. Reporting it stole can lead to a very bad road. If they require a police report and you are bad at lying. It is also fraud.

Just flash it back, if you can. If you can't take it in and pay the deductible.

Ok I just called the insurance people directly and filed the claim over the phone. I'll probably flash the stock rom and unroot before I mail this one back to them. Pretty painless and I put the 100 bucks on my sprint bill.
