All this makes me wonder about the status of the phones that were involuntarily rooted by the DreamDroid exploit. Hopefully the Google fix unrooted them and it won't be regarded as voiding the warranty!
Flashing a new rom should wipe away all traces of a previous root attempt. To be extra safe, flash an old stock rom, delete Super User app if it remains, wait for OTA update, done~
You can always test if you still have SU using ADB.
