Question about Note 10.1 and Powerpoint

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I need to know for sure before I go dropping money.
What I want to be able to do is view powerpoint slides and write/draw/scribble directly on the slides and have those scribbles saved for the next time I open it. Not typing, and not in a separate file.
Can I do this on a Galaxy Note 10.1? Do I need to download or buy a certain app? Thanks.

I just tried this.

I had a PowerPoint (created in PPt 2010) loaded in Dropbox. Opened it up and it launched Polaris Office (which was provided/installed on my Note).

Put the slides in slide show mode.
Clicked the Pen tool in the lower left corner of the slide (same place it is in PowerPoint)
Wrote "Hello" on the slide.
Clicked to exit the show. I was prompted if I wanted to save the annotations. I said OK.
The show closed and I returned to the slide workspace of Polaris Office.
My writing was still on the slide.

So, I'd say it works just fine.
