Question about office application?

Hi,

I am trying to open a docx document that has some math formulas in it (created using microsoft equation) but I cannot see this formulas.

Is there any app that I can use to see them?

It would be best if I could also edit it but just seeing would be great. :)

I have tried polaris, Kingsoft Office and the trial version of Office suite pro. None of them work :(

Thanks in advance,

BR

Try Quick Office and see if that will work.

That app seems great but it doesn't have any free trial. I have asked them directly about this feature because I don't see any reference to this in there website.

Did you tried this office? Opening doc or docx with equations?

Thx

You can try SoftMaker Office Beta. It's still undergoing beta testing, so no guarantees offered. But the developers do have a support forum to report bugs and suggestions/improvements.

You need to register to get a serial number to work with the demo.

Documents to go doesn't work either. In the place where the equation should be (and it's the same with every office app I tried) it just appears a blank space.

There must be here someone that already tried to open docx files with equations (the one created using Microsoft equations) and has the same problem. If so is it possible to be overcome by any of the existing apps.
It might not even be possible as the Microsoft equation editor (or something like this) is like a supplement of MS Word.

Has an engineer student/professional I find this very important. I am sure there must be some with the same problem. If not how did you solved it.

Thanks

A pc might be your only answer.

Well I don't think so. I just think that either I don't know what application can work with that (and that is way I post it here) or it wasn't developed YET.

Anyway the developers of softmaker office are working on it but for now only equation on .doc can be seen.
