Question about phone account

So if I have an account with T-Mobile, and I sell my phone and take out the sim card, will the phone be able to be used by someone else? Will my account be linked to my sim card?

Yes, as long as the network they are using the same frequency bands. If they are sticking with T-mobile, then there won't be any problem. If they are an AT&T customer, then it depends on the phone, but they might not be able to get 3/4g data or LTE. What phone are we talking about here?

That's the way sims work. However, if your phone is under contract to T-mobile they could still blacklist it if you default on the contract terms. So, don't do that. :)

Yeah they have to stick with T-Mobile. It's locked to them. I'm probably gonna sell my S3 from T-Mobile.

And nope. my phone is prepaid. Also could I use an AT&T 4G LTE phone on T-Mobile's service long as it's unlocked? And get LTE?

T-Mobile has been expanding their LTE service areas, so as long as it's available there, then you should be okay with an AT&T phone.

Yeah it's available here. I just thought maybe there was more to it then that. Different frequencies or something.
