Root Question about Prevail rooting/unrooting

I recently used Rooting Guide for Dummies and successfully rooted my Prevail to see what exactly what it would do for me. 1st of all, Great job to everyone involved and keep up the good work. I did like it, but was still wanting some of the stuff that came with the Prevail. So tonight I used Odin to go back to stock version. I did partition my SD card still but I read in the Dummies guide (Beginning of Chapter Two) that with Superuser you could just erase some bloatware that was included from Boost? Can anyone tell me if it's possible and what I need to do? Thanks and again keep up the good work!

If you've gone back to the stock version, I'm pretty sure that you are going to need to go back to a rooted version to remove the bloatware. You can usually find the apps that you want from the non rooted ROM by doing a Google search. Also, I'm sure that quite a few of the member here could hook you up with most of them if you make a list of the ones that you want.

Here is a link to a ROM that is basically rooted stock with most of the bloatware removed. Give it a read, it may be what you're looking for.

if you are still rooted, root explorer (at play store) is a good app that will let you delete and move stuff and do just about anything inside your phone. be carefull though you can do harm. if still rooted and have cwm, make a backup before you do anything and then can always go back to before you messed something up.
