Question about pulling GPS location from an app.

[CTBrian84]

I'm trying to figure out the exact (or general idea) of where I was the other day using GPS coordinates (hopefully). I noticed in the files of the transparent weather app that I use, that there was a file labeled with the town I was in the other day. So, I'm guessing it has a more specific idea of where exactly I was.

Is there a way for me to find out the GPS coordinates (or general idea) of where I was the other day?

Thanks

One which you can try is called "GPS Grid Reference - Full"

If you dont know exactly where you where you can choose it from the Map, or you can also type the name of the town or street.

Are you looking for a map with the name of the town you're in, or the latitude / longitude?

For a map with your location just use the built-in Maps app.

I like GPS Status for the latitude / longitude / altitude, and status of how many GPS satellites you can 'see'. Free in the Playstore.

Unless you've disabled Google's location services on your phone, you can also find that information by viewing your Location History: https://maps.google.com/locationhistory/
