Question about purchasing apps

Is it like in the iShit that when you purchase apps they are saved within your Google account so let's say one day you restore the device to factory settings, can you easily re download all your purchased apps?

Another question is, let's say I buy an app and then don't like it, is there a refund policy usually and how would one delete that app from his app and get a refund?

Thanks

Yes if you buy an app it is registered with google, and even if you buy another phone, let alone do a factory reset, you can still access those same apps.

If you don't like an app you need to act quick, because I think there is something like a 10 or 15 MINUTE cancellation period! I don't know if this is for all apps, but I know that some apps have this really short period in which to obtain a refund.

There is a Refund button in Play Store next to the Open button after you have just bought the app, but I have never used it so I cannot describe the refund procedure.

Your apps are attached to your gmail account. When you go into the play store and bring up your apps it will show all the apps you have downloaded including the ones you have paid for.

You have all of 15min to decide to if you want a refund on an app you have paid for.

I made a mistake and I was in the Samsung apps and searched for Whatsapp and by mistake I bought the Whatsapp Emoji + skin then I couldnt find any refund button :(

Unfortunately, I believe only Google's "Play Store" will give out refunds within 15 minutes. I don't know if the other markets like Samsung's and Amazon's will do that.

Also, apps downloaded from places other than the Google "Play Store" will not be tied to your Google account. Just a heads up.

Yeah I never knew PlayStore and the Samsung Apps Were 2 different things

I was surprised to have Samsung force me to make an account when I first started my S3, I thought all I needed was my current Gmail account but I HAD to create a Samsung account

Bummer. I just looked on the Samsung Apps website FAQ about refunds:

Applications successfully purchased are not subject to refund or cancellation. If an application has a material defect, the application will be replaced, downloaded again or a voucher provided for the equivalent purchase value.
