Let's say that I have apps apps that use 9/10 of the RAM and fewer opened apps that uses 1/10 of the RAM on two situations. On both situation, is the battery usage same assuming those apps are not doing anything
Open RAM is wasted RAM. This isn't your computer. It doesn't require large amounts of RAM to engage most tasks. Processes are stored in your RAM for quick recall, and even speeds your phone up significantly.
If your phone is only using 1/10 of the RAM, Android will find a use for the other 90%. It anticipates what processes you may need in the future and loads them into the free RAM. If Android anticipates correctly, it will make those processes start up faster when you need them.
