Hey guys. I have a question. I don't think this is a problem persay, but I have the AT&T note I717 and I have it rooted. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed or experianced a subtle slow down in performance after rooting. I rooted my phone after playing with it for a little while stock and brushing up on this phones root tools and such.
I rooted the phone and noticed it get a bit slower. Not really bad but still noticeable. I didnt think anything of it. After a couple weeks playing with it I decided I wanted to try out a couple Roms. I flashed a Rom and didnt like it, so I flashed a different one. My phone didnt like the second and went nuts....lol....I went to flash my backup and the damn thing told me I had no backups....ok...I used odin to restore the stock firmware.
All is golden now. All speedy and snappy as new. Then I rooted again and noticed that same little slow down in performance. Any ideas whats goin on here? From my experiance with my Droid X, I know there can be a performance difference between odexed and deodexed but im stock on this so no flashing themes.
