I'm wanting to buy a connect but I was wondering, is 4g really available in the areas shown on the coverage map?
When I'm at home in Westminster, OC I have almost no 3g-very weak/intermittent and mostly stays on 1x so my phone is set on cdma only at home.
However in downtown L.A. and Long Beach I have consistent strong 3g; 3-4 bars and it doesn't drop to 1x.
I was wondering if the 4g is the same way because I'd hate to get the connect only to learn I can't use the 4g at home, but only when I'm in LA or LBC.
I know better than to ask the metropcs store-their goal is to sell me a new phone, not scare me away. If anyone can shed some light I'd appreciate it.
