ok i am new to sprint as of oct 3rd 2010. i have 3 lines on my account. i have the epic, exclaim, and sanyo taho. sprint is charging me 195.00 month. i do have a 18% discount threw my work. is there any other plan that i can get that would run me 150.00 a month or lower besides what i already have??? i do have the insurance on all phones of course.and then the epic being a smart phone, 10 dollars extra 4 that... and i'm tired of talking to sprint reps. they tell me i can't get any other plan. which i think is bs.i can't be stuck with the plan i have?? i think i have the 1500 unlimited or something like that. i dont even come close to using all my minutes.im lucky if i even use 400 a month.i text more then anything.

but my question is to anyone out there , is there any other plan that i can get that would be cheaper? since sprint is not interested in sharing it with me. thanks for all that reply!

With the phones you have that's it. Unless you cancel and open an eprp plan or get feature phones...your stuck.

Your total monthly bill doesnt seem right with your 18% discount. If you have the everything data family plan with three lines you should be charged $129 + $19 for the 3rd line, $21 for the insurance on the 3 lines and $ 10 for the premium data. Before your 18% discount you should be charged $180.98.

Your actually going to be only saving the 18% on the $129.99 but your bill should still be a lot lower than what you are being charged.

Look at your bill to see if you are actually getting your discount and see if you are getting any additional charges you should be getting.

Good luck.

Everything Data 450 Anytime Minutes Included
$69.99
Premium Data add-on charge $10.00
Total Equipment Protection - $7.00
Sprint Surcharges $3.95
Government Fees & Taxes $4.89 around 15.00 in taxes and insurance
-------
$95.83

So for 3 phones just the Insurance is 21.00 - 195.00=174.00

I cancelled my insurance. saving 84.00 a yr.
7.00 + 10.50 Gov. Discount 17.50-95.83 = 78.33

i don't think i can cancell my insurance on the phones cause there could always be a problem with one of them so i need that protection. thats the bad part...im not sure if i can get the 69 plan can i? i think thats just a single line but im not sure really. being new to sprint i don't understand their plans to well.lol thanks for you reply.

Ok, then if you have the sprint tv for $10 than your total makes sense. Because that total is your total before your discount. It doesnt sound like it is being applied. Check your bill and see. Plus if you cancel the sprint tv you will save more obviously. Your bill should be around $160 with your discount and without the sprint tv charge.

Log into Sprints website and choose analyze my plan. That might also help you figure things out. Like isaemm said, cancel the Sprint TV and double check you bill. Are you only being charged for Srint TV on one phone or all 3 ???

You can change your plan anytime you want. If Sprint told you that you can't BULL. I have changed mine 3 times in a year. Went from the 69.99 plan to the 99.99 and back to the 69.99. Most my calls are mobile to mobile and I use lots of data and text so I kept the unlimited data plan. I did not need the 99.99 cuz I don't talk that much.

Everything Family Data 1500
BlackBerry, Samsung Intercept, Sanyo flip phone.
No insurance

$118/month after 27% discount and recurring monthly credit.

:D

you might rethink about insurance on the non-smartphones to see if you really need it. you can buy old non-smartphones really cheap from many outlets. plus, is sprint tv really working that well to justify the extra monthly fee? just a thought.

In a year's time, you'll spend $96 to insure a phone you can buy for less than $50. I tend to agree with badankles. You might reconsider insuring the two cheaper phones.

I have 4 EVO's on a 1500 minute shared plan.. forget the % for military discount... I think 15%, and my final bill is $214... some states, counties, cities, etc do have higher taxes than others.

Check with home owners or renters insurance for a smart phone rider...
