Question about the OTA

I have a Spring G2 was rooted. Went back to stock to update to the OTA, my question is, if i root and flash a ROM will the OTA get deleted or will the ROM not work correctly.

If the update was to the ROM, flashing a new ROM will replace the entire old ROM, including the update.

If the update was to an app the ROM doesn't affect, it won't affect the update.

If the ROM was done correctly it'll work, otherwise it won't. (The ROM you're going to flash replaces the ROM LG updated with the OTA update, assuming that the update was to the ROM not to some app.)

"OTA" doesn't say what you got, just how you got it.

Yeah should of explain better, Sprint sent out an update that change the software from LS980ZV7 to LS980ZV8.

If you flash a ROM it will replace the OTA.

And future OTAs will not install unless you go back to stock.
