Help Question about the task manager..

When you hold the home button it shows a list of windows open (im assuming these programs are running) but when you click on task manager inside of that window and go to active applications that list will often be completely different than what I see from just holding the home button. My question is if I have a list of apps that show up when I hold home and nothing showing in active does that mean that those apps arent using any cpu power or ram?

Are you sure holding home isn't just recent apps?
Android controls its own ram. Do not kill things with task managers. It hampers performance

If its only recent apps then thats great. My issue was Im using back button to close everything but I didnt expect any apps to show up in that list. But if its recent then that makes sense.
