I just got off the phone with a Verizon customer service rep, my question to him was this:
Both me and my wife have upgrades available. I need a 1 year contract since I like to try the newest phones but my wife could care less, so she's good with a 2 year contract. Since we're on a family plan (I got the promo unlimited data plan), can we have her line on a 2 year contract and mine on a 1 year contract? His answer was yes, we can do that.
Can anyone here confirm this? I don't want to upgrade her phone on a 2 year contract then later find out that I'm stuck too.
