Root Question about upgrading my root.

I finally rooted my G1 to CM 4.2. It's great! My question is, can I put say... SENSE UI on top of this? How would I go about putting a new theme on it, links/ideas/etc?

I am no expert but I would ask this question over on the CM forum. Before you get too settled in I would advise upgrading to CM 5.0.7 it is 2.1 and faster more stable than 4.2. There are instructions at the CM wiki. Well worth it.
