Question about which company to get internet connections in my area.

I already know about how to get the internet by Wifi, mifi, internet provider, etc.

But I had a low income (less than a $1000) and I can't afford a computer. I brought a tablet to keep up the pace. Everything is expensive.

So I live in Downtown Brooklyn area, which company can I go that is cheaper?
