hey i want to know that if I factory reset my phone on which I have manually installed froyo 2.2 do I lose froyo when I factory reset it or not.? when i bought the phone it had 2.1 eclair in it...

Most Wildfires with 2.2 installed survive a hard reset without reverting.

We've seen reports of some Wildfire users finding their device's OS returned to 2.1 following a factory data reset with 2.2 installed.

In some of those, the newer OS was either installed at the store by a tech, or the device was returned after talking to support on the phone and then sent back with 2.2 installed.
