Root [Question] Anyone know a way to port over ZTE's Camera program?

Let's face it, LP's stock camera sucks major. It's so 2009, completely devoid of features. I've tried forcing the camera apk into system, which just results in a crash. Please don't tell me to get something from the play store. I want all the features right in one package. One main reason I want it ported so badly is for the HQ panoramas, on top of that I think it's an excellent program in general.

Any ideas? Some type of interpreter or whatever to "fake" kit Kat? Seriously it's the ONLY thing really I miss in LP.

I could care less for the old holo themes nowadays.

If no one will do it, just drop a hint on what to do or where to get started and I'd try a whack at it myself.

I don't mess with different camera apps much (mainly cuz I'm real ugly), but I like a camera with great zoom. I used to have a couple of zoom camera apps that had high ratings. Well, when CM was in beta, it was having camera issues and someone said Camu was working when many others weren't. I tried it and it's been my camera of choice ever since. It's gotta whole lotta zoom, and pic quality while zoomed put my zoom camera apps to shame. No panorama, but a decent amount of effects I never use. Video too. And pinch zoom, which I like alot. I'm far from an expert on camera apps, though. Here's a couple of examples of pic quality.....

Are those photos taken from a Zmax...?

Yes, just last week, you like em? Taken with Camu app. Love it. I know those aren't pics of anything neat, but the leaves show the detail this camera can capture. You can zoom in pretty close with clarity and I had the one of the trailer zoomed a bit when I took the shot.

maybe i will give that a shot when im off dial up. thanks

I would say that the lollipop camera, just like google camera, isnt bloated and full of useless gimmicky features. Judging by your post, maybe you would be happier with iOS or Touch Wiz.
ew.touchwiz? if i wanted an slow, locked out overbloated phone i would have kept my p769. i wanted the stock app since its fast and has more than just barebones features. seriously its like im asking for xfce themes in lxde and youre response is like saying i prefer Unity or OSX.
