Hello all,
I traded in my epic 4g for the GS3 4G LTE the other day, and over the past few days have been setting things up on my new phone.
One area i have a question is e-mail.
I have a total of 5 e-mail accounts setup on my phone, and one thing i liked on my Epic 4G was when i clicked on e-mail it would open up an accounts page showing me all 5 of my e-mail accounts with a counter next to each email account (example 2/20 or 5/30 ect...). I could then click on that email account and read the emails from that account. When i was done i would just hit the back button and it would take me back to the account list page.
My GS3 doesn't seem to do that. When i click on my email icon it opens up to the account that i have listed as the defualt account to send messages from vs an account page. Is there a setting that i jus haven't come across yet that lets me tell it to always open up to an account page vs my default send account?????
Next question.
When i create a new email to send out, and i'm typing in the name of the person i want to send it to the phone starts to show me possible matches to the name i'm typing which is fine, BUT i noticed that its also including possible matches from my college account! I go to school and have a student account and for some reason its showing me matches from ALL of the students from school ROFL! I have no idea why its doing that. When i setup my student account on my phone i un-checked the sync contacts.
Any idea why on earth my phone is showing names of ALL students at the school that have a student e-mail as possible matches to the person i'm trying to send an email to??????
I tried un-installing my student email and re-installing it, i've made sure its not set to sync contacts, and i've made sure my phone is set to NOT sync anything unless i manually go in there and do it no matter if its my email, contacts, facebook ect...!
any help would be welcome on this matter.
