Question - for at&t reps or someone who has done this.

I recently started working at Verizon and want to cancel my family plan with At&t. Only problem is I have 2 smartphones on 4 of my lines so the termination fee's are gonna kill me.

If I put a basic phone on both of my smartphone lines will the ETF be dropped from a Smartphone to a basic phone ETF?
( Go from $375 to $ 175? )

Would love if an at&t employee can answer this question for me. Or anyone who has done or tried this in the past.

Probably not, as when you signed the contract the ETF was also embedded in the contract, and no longer has anything to do with the active devices on your account.

thanks for the info. I called in today and its $690 to Cancel my 4 lines..
