Question For Those Using Face Recognition

First, I gotta say that in the 25 or so years using various cell phones, I have never lost a phone or had one stolen. I simply pay attention to where the thing is. So...I don't have any intention of using face recognition to unlock my phone. One thing I'm curious about is...what happens if you want to unlock your phone in a dark room?

If the phone cannot recognize your face or the lighting is too low, there is a pin code backup. It will ask you to input a pin in the phone instead

You can also use pattern recognition instead of pin/password for the face recognition backup.

Also you can go in and take multiple shots of your face, different angles, lighting, etc so it can better recognize you and basically learns you. However, as it says in the disclaimer, even someone who looks similar to you can gain access. So there are pros and cons.
