Idk if any of you owned previous xperia devices but does this phone have the same issues with the speaker having low volume when it rings?

I know the xperia x10 had this issue a lot....Ringtones were awfully low and hard to hear

I have never owned a xperia device but on the reviews on the play they said that it has the best stereo speakers on any phone they have ever tested. The xperia play will definitely be my next phone.

I've read most if not all of the reviews I could find about this phone, and I haven't seen anyone listing the ringer volume as being a problem...

okay good...i loved the xperia x10 and i could deal with it being on 1.6 and all but the low and tinny sounding ringtones was just awful and i couldn't take it

i've heard the speakers in the videos and they sound great so i am hoping that this means SE fixed it

Speakers are great on the Play. Good quality stereo sound (the best I've heard on a phone) and no issues with volume.
