Question from a newbie

Klifnote

Lurker
I'm Klifnote from MA. I'm 70 y.o.. I've had a droid for about 5 months and am slowly learning about it's capabilities through the family. I have an Ipod that I use to listen to books and sometimes music. My son is trying to convince me to put a 64 gb sim card in the phone so that I only need one device. Wondering if the droid can handle that size card.

Welcome to AF Klifnote! :)

Your son was probably referring to an SD card. (SIM cards are tiny little cards used to identify phones to the carriers like Verizon or Tmobile that only hold small amounts of data).

SD cards are also tiny looking just like SIM cards, but they hold large amounts of data (many Gigabytes).

The (original) Droid I think can handle up to 32GB of storage from a SD card. Do you have the Motorola Droid 1? or a different "Droid" (many phones use the "Droid" brand)
