(Question)Is there any android app that monitors Network Data Usage Per Hour?

Here's my data plan:
20 Hours of mobile internet per month.
30 minutes lock down period. Means when I connect to 3g, even I only used it for 29 minutes or less, it will still count as 30 minutes.
What I need:
Monitor my data usage per hour, Not per MB.
If possible, automatically stops my data usage when 20 Hours is used within the month.

My plan is unlimited in MB so no need to monitor network data usage in MB.

Thanks in advance!

I don't have a specific app suggestion, although there are related apps such as Watchdog 3G.

But I think that you will probably need to root your phone, to exert ironclad control over apps which normally perform routine checks (e.g. for updates or new data, or ads) over the internet. Otherwise many of your precious hours will be wasted by mechanisms outside your control.

My Data Manager counts MB, not the time you are connected to the mobile internet. I think i'll start developing my own app if I can't find this very simple app.

Actually, it was an amazing plan. You can download unlimited data within 20 hours per month. The problem is they did not put an option that will let us see how much we've used in that 20 hours. Of course, that's business.

My problem now is I'm new in android and I'm having hard time to study because I'm busy with other things.

But please help me. If you found some app that has a feature atleast monitor the mobile internet per hour within the month, week, or day, tell me so I can stop making my own app.

BTW, thanks for all replies guys. I appreciate it.

I'll advise to either switch providers or get a different service plan. Why would anyone want to play patty-cake like that?

I've never heard of any carrier with a data plan like. I've never seen an app that measures time spent using the data connection. I think that billing method is so bizarre that no one has ever had a reason to make an app like that.

This data plan is actually good for heavy downloading. Good for persons who stream videos and download files with their phone. Yes the "per MB" plan is better, but my plan comes with this 20 hours of mobile internet/month and also it was the cheapest provider here. One thing I hate is they won't allow me to see how much I've used with that 20 hours.
I think i'll try study android programming. In the meantime i'll just record my data manually.

Thanks!
