Help Question on charging recognition?

Hello again, im taking my asus back tomorrow to be exhange due to it not charging. I want to make sure my new one is ok before leaving the shop... can i just ask, is there any sort of recognition on the tablet to show its charging? I.e. the battery symbol, does it move up and down like on a phone to show you it is charging?

Its just when i went into the shop to show them, they said it was charging (they unplugged the cable and it said re connect so they presumed it is charging, its not!!) so i want to make sure i know what im talking about when i go in :p

Thanks!

When it's charging you should see a lightning bolt over the battery symbol in the notifications area onthe bottom righthand corner

Thank you, when it did have enough power to switch it on it definately didn't have that.. It just showed a almost empty red battery symbol, nothing else.

I went to get it exchanged today but there where non available. Can I ask, when yours is charging, do you hear a very slight "click click click" coming from the charging point? I do :/ only just noticed when attempting to charge again tonight. I think it may just be the charger that's broken? Surely both tablet and docking station can not be broken?

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a charger? (uk) thanks x
