Root Question on governors?

Basically want to know if it would be better to use say smartass for both wake /sleep.....
Or to set my phone to use two different ones?
I don't think you can do it in IColdS, so it's the only thing keeping me on redemption

I don't know if there's any advantage to switching or not. I do know that governors can have inbuilt responses to being in sleep, such as reducing the maximum CPU frequency they'll use, so switching may be unnecessary.

That said, if you want to switch different ROMs, just SetCPU will allow you to switch governors when the screen is on/off.
