Hi guys , I just moved from wp8 to android . I am still very much learning the os at the moment. I was wondering if apps like whatsapp and facebook have an option where you enable the bubble for messages or notifications just next to the tile like with my email tile. If I recieve an email I get a little number next to my email tile. With whatsapp and facebook all I seem to get is a banner across the top and I am missing messages or having to open the app just to see if I have any activity. Any help would be muchbapprectiated . Many thanks.

You are looking for a little notification symbol next to the app.
From what I know of this is only available with certain applications through the use of this app: TeslaUnread, this requires Nova Launcher to work.
