I have the Samsung Galaxy S3 and i am wondering if there is a way to set up my notifications so that none of my programs will search (ex: facebook notificatons) unless my phone is connected to Wi-Fi?
What is the reason you don't want notifications unless on wifi? Is there a particular aspect of the notification system you NEED to supress specifically?
No there is not. It was just something i wanted to do and it is not really needed. I figured i would ask incase someone else had wanted the same thing and knew how to go about it.
That's off topic, anyway. That isn't a double negative, he just missed a comma. A double negative is something like "I'm not doing nothing" which means "I am doing something".
Please, lets not try to pick holes in each other's posts - this is a forum, not an English exam
You could always use Tasker (a paid app) to alter your settings based on whether or not you're connected to WiFi. But exactly what settings you want to toggle depends on what you're trying to achieve, like SURoot said. It is possible to disable auto-sync and background data use that way, but that would affect all apps, not just specific ones.
